Typical Quality Manager Requirements:
5+ years QA leadership in US food manufacturing. PCQI certification. HACCP Lead Instructor or equivalent. SQF Practitioner or Lead Auditor (BRCGS, FSSC 22000 also valuable). Strong CAPA, non-conformance, and root-cause analysis discipline. Internal audit program ownership. Supplier approval and monitoring experience. Traceability and recall-readiness exercises. Team leadership of 3–10 QA personnel. Comfortable leading through FDA and USDA inspections.
